THE OPPORTUNITY

The HVAC Sales Manager is a newly created position focused on driving revenue growth through proactive lead generation and team leadership. Reporting to the Director of Services, Operations, and Sales, this role emphasizes expanding the customer base by targeting past and present construction clients and securing preventative maintenance agreements and service contracts. The HVAC Sales Manager fosters a high-performing sales environment aligned with the company’s vision and culture, while committing to personal leadership and sales skill development through structured, quarterly growth opportunities.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Lead, coach, and align the sales team with the company’s vision, fostering a culture of performance, urgency, and succession planning.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales strategies, providing updates towards goals.
  • Initiate and develop new revenue through proactive lead generation, targeting past and present construction clients and critical projects.
  • Lead team members to achieve targets in preventative maintenance service revenue and renewals, service contracts, and pull-through opportunities.
  • Understand and effectively communicate the company’s value prop, promoting preventative maintenance programs and services to build loyalty and client satisfaction.
  • Manage sales administration including developing and refining processes.
  • Utilize CRM database and other tools to track and report sales metrics.
  • Prepare and deliver proposals and RFQ responses.
  • Build collaborative internal and external relationships through superior communication and a people-oriented approach.
  • Coordinate with other departments to provide support as needed towards sales efforts and goals.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO OUR ORGANIZATION

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial HVAC services and direct sales, with a proven track record of consistently exceeding sales quotas.
  • 3+ years of HVAC sales management experience, leading a direct commercial HVAC sales team.
  • Thorough knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and HVAC industry.
  • Demonstrated strong leadership, customer service, and sales skills, with a proven ability to guide the sales team in achieving or exceeding their goals.
  • Proven experience preparing and presenting professional proposals and RFQ responses, including coordinating with estimators across multiple trades.
  • Expertise in creating and delivering polished presentations to service and construction customers.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to handle multiple projects and proposals simultaneously.
  • Skilled in deal negotiation and tracking trend logs to identify optimal customer solutions and ensure a smooth transition to operations.
  • Proficiency in implementing and managing CRM databases, focusing on maintaining team accountability and data integrity.
  • EOS experience a plus.
  • Proficient in Excel and Word, including use of pivot tables and advanced formulas.
  • Valid driver’s license with good driving record.

  • Expected annual salary range of $110,000 - $135,000 base plus variable compensation
